The guardian.co.uk website has posted 13 unbelievable photographs of the amount of inventory build-up of unsold cars. Nissan has gone so far as to use their test track as a storage lot for its thousands of unsold vehicles. It seems that throughout Europe, Asia and the U.S., ports, lots and other storage facilities are seeing an unprecedented number of unsold inventory build-up.

In Maryland, port officials report the number of dormant vehicles has grown to 57,000. Knowing they will soon run out of room, officials are considering expanding their storage lot. On top of mass layoffs, Honda has gone so far as to halt production of at one plant for four months.
